Michael Danielson - Continuing My Service To Arcadia

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

I am currently serving as your City Councilman for District 5. I was recently recruited by Mayor Pro Tem Paul Cheng and unanimously appointed by Mayor Sho Tay, Mayor Pro Tem Paul Cheng, Councilwoman April Verlato and Councilman Tom Beck.

I took the position because of my belief that my past experiences and record of outstanding service to Arcadia would allow me to make sensible, principle-based decisions that reflect the interests and concerns of District 5 while understanding that all decisions affect the whole of Arcadia and its people. I am confident that my voting record backs that belief. I am asking you to allow me to continue my service as your elected City Councilman for District 5.

My top priorities are to preserve and enhance the way of life in Arcadia for which its residents have sacrificed so dearly. This includes:

Public Safety: First class Police and Fire departments, making sure our homes, schools and streets are secure, reducing crime, protecting our investments, businesses, and property values.

Reasonable and responsible residential building standards and compatible commercial development.

Fiscally sound and sustainable budgets, communicated in a clear transparent manner.

Maintaining our nationally acclaimed school system.

Fostering caring connected neighborhoods that respect and value traditions and diverse cultures.

My voting record demonstrates 100% support for Police and Fire, concern for growth while weighing the impact on our community, conservative spending, and addressing challenging State mandates with strategic policy adoptions that ensure our way of life.
